Generally Available BOAT COVERAGES: Protection for your boat, motor and trailer: You’ll need coverage for your boat, motor and trailer while boating, launching, hauling, or storing your vessel. We provide protection against theft, vandalism, windstorm, hail, lightening, fire and explosion. Our policy includes coverage if you strike a submerged object. We also provide coverage for your boat while it's being operated by an authorized user. Your policy will include up to $100 for the reasonable expenses of emergency services such as towing, mechanical labor at the place of breakdown, and the delivery of fuel, oil, or a battery. Coverage is permitted, up to an additional 5% of your Physical Damage Coverage limit, for the reasonable cost that may be incurred by the attempted or actual raising, removal, or destruction of a covered watercraft. Liability coverages offer protection (including the cost of legal representation) from covered claims made against you or a resident family member for property damage or bodily injury. Policy provides boat equipment coverage equal to 10% of your Physical Damage Coverage limit. Protection for your liability arising out of boat ownership: Protection in case you or a member of your household accidentally injures another person in a boating accident. This includes accidentally injuring a swimmer or water-skier. Coverage if you hit and damage a dock, or if your boat collides with and damages another boat. Medical payments protection can provide coverage for reasonable and necessary medical expenses resulting from injuries sustained in a covered boating The boat owner and the passengers in the covered boat. Water-skiers being pulled behind the covered boat. You, residents of your household and guest passengers, while swimming from the covered boat, if struck by any boat. Coverage up to 100 nautical miles of either the U.S. or Canada. Discounts may apply |
